Content Moderation Policy

Introduction

This Content Moderation Policy applies to user activity, prompts, uploaded materials, AI-generated outputs, characters, chats, and public community content on XChatAI.

Our goals are to reduce prohibited content, respond to valid reports, protect users and third parties, and improve platform safeguards over time.

Moderation Framework

XChatAI may use multiple moderation layers, including:

• Automated text, image, video, and upload checks
• Safety checks before generation or publication
• User and third-party reporting
• Human review for flagged content and higher-risk cases
• Engineering escalation when abuse patterns or safety gaps are discovered
• Copyright review through our DMCA process

Prohibited Content

You may not create, upload, publish, or share content that includes:

• Child sexual abuse material, including AI-generated or fictionalized CSAM
• Sexual or exploitative content involving minors or characters presented as minors
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, or content depicting real people without consent
• Content that violates privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other legal rights
• Hate, harassment, threats, or targeted abuse
• Extreme graphic violence, torture, mutilation, or death
• Sexual acts involving animals
• Illegal instructions, fraud, malware, or attempts to bypass platform safety systems

This list is not exhaustive. Additional restrictions may apply under our Terms of Service and applicable law.

Enforcement

When we identify a violation, we may take action including:

• Blocking generation or publication
• Removing or disabling access to content
• Restricting public posting or generation features
• Suspending or terminating accounts
• Preserving records where legally necessary
• Reporting serious illegal content to appropriate authorities when required or appropriate

Reports and Appeals

Users and third parties can report content by contacting [email protected]. We may ask for URLs, screenshots, account information, or other details needed to review the report.

If you believe content or an account restriction was applied by mistake, contact us with enough information for review.

Records and Privacy

We may log moderation decisions, enforcement reasons, and related evidence to operate the service, enforce policies, prevent abuse, and improve safety systems. Access to moderation data is limited to authorized personnel and handled under our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update this policy as our products, laws, and safety systems change.
